OUTDOOR 2021 FAQ
How many players can I register to my team?
Our budget is based on a team registration of 20 players. As in previous seasons you can register less than 20 or you can register up to a maximum of 24 players. We are planning to return to regular play 11v11.
What is the maximum number of participants (players, coaches, match officials) allowed in the field of play?
Currently under the Phase 2 reopening plan, there is no restrictions on the number of above individuals listed above.
Can I play on more than one division?
Due to the changes in the Provincial Reopening plan and the removal of the “competitive bubble maximums”, we are allowing registrations for different divisions as allowable by our Outdoor Rules. For example, one can register for a Masters Team and Open Tier.
When will we know about tier placements?
We will be reviewing tier placements after our registration date of July 2, 2021.
Are the deposits refundable?
Due to the impacts of the pandemic and the ever changing environments, we would refund deposits if the 2021 outdoor season is cancelled prior to our first week of games.
Should the 2021 outdoor season be cancelled throughout the season, we will review financial impacts and communicate with registered team reps directly.
Are we required to wear masks on or off the playing field?
You are not required to wear a mask on or off the playing field. However, players can wear masks on the bench if they choose to.
Do I have to have my COVID-19 vaccination to register for soccer?
Is KWSC required to complete contract tracing?
My team is not registering a team, but I would like to play, how do I find another team?
